As Independent Agents, we enjoy a special contractual relationship with a number of large, international and national insurance companies as well as several small, regional carriers. We have represented some of these companies since the founding of our agency in 1905 and we work with them in an atmosphere of mutual respect, based upon our long working relationship, much in the same way that a business deals with its suppliers.
As with any business, our customers are our business and therefore our insurance carriers realize that in all circumstances we will focus on the interest of our customer and assist him in analyzing and dealing with his exposure. Often when working with an insurance agent there may be a question in the customer’s mind as to whose “side” the agent is on. The answer to this question is logical and understandable. Our job is to act as the conduit whereby the insurance company and the customer are both served to the highest standards of the policy or “contract.”
